World Spares, a family run business, started in 1995 buying and selling CV Joints and CV Boots locally. With increased sales, in 1996 became an authorised GOMET distributor (GOMET is an Italian company manufacturing top quality CV Boots and Steering Rack boots). In 1997/98, Metelli Company ( an Italian manufacturing company) also made World Spares an authorized distributor. In 1997/98, World Spares began importing Metelli CV Joints with huge success. In 2001, they introduced Metelli brake and clutch hydraulics into their range. Following this, in 2002, started importing Metelli brake discs and water pumps. To complete an already highly successful product range, in 2009, introduced Metelli brake pads into the South African market.
