Tyre Rack Pietermaritzburg is a wheel and tyre specialist based in the city centre. The company began as Pietermaritzburg’s first dedicated mag wheel fitment centre in the early 2000s. Initially born as Pitstyle PMB, the shop was the pioneer in the sale and fitment of mag wheels and vehicle accessories. After just over 10 years of reasonable success in the industry, the landscape of the wheel market had changed which led to the business being sold to a Gauteng based company and rebranded as Tyre Rack. After a few years of trading under the new identity, it was decided that the business did not suit the needs of the owner and was sold again.
