Thermaire Investments (Pty) Ltd., was established in South Africa in 1945 under the name Thermaire (Pty) Ltd., as an air-conditioning company supplying air-conditioning to hospital ships for the British Admiralty. The business was later owned by the JSE listed construction giants, Murray & Roberts, who changed the name to Improvair (Pty) Ltd.<br/><br/>Since then, the company has been through a number of name and ownership changes, and ultimately all assets and liabilities were bought from Murray & Roberts in 2005 by the current owners.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Today<br/><br/>The name Thermaire Investments (Pty) Ltd. was introduced shortly after the buy-out in 2005 and today the company trades through a number of divisions each having its own brand name.
