Still going strong since 2006, owner and chef M A Khan has obviously got the formula right when it comes to providing good Indian food as three more restaurants all trading under the Tranna name are now dotted around the Pretoria suburbs, and the Sunday buffet is proving to be a winner with its selection of dishes at affordable prices. Much like the Tranna décor, Curry Palace is not a traditional Indian Restaurant in terms of décor. There are no ornately decorated elephants, heavily jeweled gold ornaments, or bright outrageous colours - symbols which one has come to associate with Indian cuisine! Here you will find a fresh, more contemporary approach. Muted tones abound even in the abstract murals and artwork that decorate the interior. However, the overall effect is both soothing and pleasing, and provides a tranquil background in which to enjoy this immensely appealing cuisine
