Julie Cardona and Associates is a private Speech Therapy and Audiology practice located in the heart of Hillcrest, KZN.<br/><br/>Julie Cardona (B. Speech and Hearing, UDW) started the practice in 2001. Since then the practice has grown, and currently has a staff of 11 people.<br/><br/>The practice offers high quality individual speech therapy to children and adults, as well as diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid evaluations, and hearing aid fittings.<br/>Speech Therapy involves the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of disorders that may include;<br/><br/>Speech disorders (difficulty pronouncing sounds or words)<br/>Language disorders (difficulty understanding what they hear and using words to convey a message)<br/>Cognitive-communication disorders (difficulty with thinking skills which may include comprehension, memory, awareness and reasoning)<br/>Stuttering/fluency (speech that may include prolongations and repetitions of sounds or words)<br/>Voice disorders (a quality of voice that may include hoarseness, nasality, volume
