SEESA, established in South Africa in 1998, has a client base of 35 000 South African business owners and employers. The success of the group is attributed to product service excellence, combined with affordability. They have an in-house team of 152 employees, 9 consulting-panel legal firms, 750 employees and 18 offices countrywide SEESA officially opened in 1980 as a drop in centre for seniors with only one paid staff member: a secretary/receptionist. Volunteers were responsible for organizing all the social events, classes, monthly dinners, birthday parties and clean up. They started opening that summer one day a week, Wednesdays noon- 5 pm, and soon the centre was open daily from 10 am - 5 pm. At the end of that inaugural year membership had grown to 265 Today, volunteers are still an integral part of the SEESA operational force and are supported by full & part-time staff. SEESA has currently over 1500 members. We are open 6 days a week with activities running well into the evening Monday to Friday
