In a tiny office above the restaurant along windermere road was where the origins of RwL were first founded, back in 1994. A determined young Russel Wayne Lockhart (RWL ) set out to start his own furniture company.The first orders he ever received was that of Masonite seats and backs, which at the time was the standard chair in all government schools... well actually any school. Russel developed relationships and friends with customers and suppliers along the way and with their continued support, good quality products and excellent service he continued to grow from strength to strength. Both Russel and his company RWL Furniture became the company well known by the Kzn Edcation Departments, Principles of schools and Educators alike and synonymous for its quality and efficiency .
