Kays Interiors started in 1968 when the original owner saw a need with the many immigrants arriving on the shores of WITBANK to either join Eskom or Highveld Steel. All the houses were new and Witbank was also very new and as they needed carpeting and household furniture, Kays Interiors was the one stop shop in Witbank.<br/><br/>At that time Colin Martinson joined Kays Interiors. He later took over the business with Richie Dunn as his partner and they decided to concentrate mainly on office furniture and carpeting. Kays moved premises a couple of times as their needs increased. In 1987 Des Conway joined Kays Interiors as the Flooring Manager.<br/>
