Adco Electro Diesel is a company that provides auto electrical spare parts and repairs, fabrication of dashboards and harnesses. It all started in 1959 when Mr CC Steyn started this family business in Marikana, which was then a rural district of Rustenburg. As Rustenburg grew, so did Electro Diesel. Today the company has evolved from a small, individually owned enterprise, into a duly registered private company. Since Mr Steyns retirement from active business participation, the business has been run by Mr Jaap Kroon who currently holds the position of managing director. In 2011 Electro Diesel implemented a black employee trust.
