Kong Sing, which means `Bright Star in Mandarin, is primarily a Chinese restaurant offering the full range of Chinese dishes. The restaurants goal is to share the flavours of China and through the delicious food, expose a little bit of the Chinese culture too. As a bonus, they have a sushi bar too, in case Chinese fare is not your personal favourite.The restaurants décor is simple and yet there are some strong Chinese influences, as you would expect. The colour scheme of red and yellow is strongly reminiscent of the typical red and gold lanterns, and indeed there are paper lanterns covering the lights, ensuring the restaurant has a soft, homely glow as opposed to glaring lights. The red is picked up on some of the walls, while the yellow is represented in the table cloths.
