. The House of Busby was founded in 1986 by Keith Brouze and Mark Gordon. The first Busby retail store specialized in handbags and luggage and quickly became a brand synonymous in South Africa with high-quality leather accessories. A wholesale division was created in 1989, this division continues to represent international and local brands such as GUESS, Nine West, Steve Madden, Delsey, Travelite and Busby Leather. In 1999 Busbys retail division began acquiring the master licences for international brands, subsequently becoming South Africas leading master franchisor. Busby Retail has the exclusive rights to top international brands including Aldo, Forever New,GUESS, Karen Millen, Mango, Nine West, Call it Spring, Kipling, Tumi.
