Edilcon Construction was established in 1965 with initial projects focussed mainly for the public sector Today the company is fully integrated offering specialist engineering management and technical services for public and private sector clients The rapid controlled growth of the company led to restructuring and the name changed to Edilcon Construction Pty Ltd in 1976 a company handling multi million rand projects To date the company has successfully completed over 400 projects in the private and public sectors Despite the cyclical nature of the building industry the company has weathered the recession periods and steadily increased the turnover and profitability Edilcon also operates two inhouse divisions namely plumbing and metalwork which assist in the companys building operations
