Blinkwater Mills history goes back to the early fifties when a maize mill was erected in Stoffberg in what was then known as the Eastern Transvaal (today Mpumalanga). Blinkwater Mills purchases maize from farmers in the Mpumalanga areas, stores the maize at Stoffberg (storage capacity of 60,000 tons) and the balance of the total tonnage of 180 000 that is milled annually, is stored in silo facilities rented from Afgri.
