The Heidelberg Guest house is situated in the town of Heidelberg (Gauteng Province) 40km from Johannesburg on the N3, nestling at the foot of the Suikerbosrand. The Guest House was built as a Parsonage for the well known "Klipkerk" in 1897. It is also directly across from the home of the well-known early Afrikaans poet, A.G. Visser. He was popularly known as the "Singer of the Suikerbosrand". In Heidelberg we have an abundance of Historical landmarks and the A.G. Visser house is also the information centre.
