This is because the home improvement store sells only stock cabinets and these cabinets come in three inch increments.This means that if you have an opening that is 26 cm the only size cabinet you can get is a 24 cm cabinet which now means that you have lost 2 cm of cabinet space. The store employee may tell you they do custom cabinets but the price you will pay will be astronomical because these companies are not set up to do custom work.We employ our own professional installers, they do not. They use subcontractors from the local area.
