Enserve employs over 150 employees in seven centres. With a turnover of $6 million per annum, the company is the largest privately owned pump and valve company in Southern Africa.Enserve was founded by Steve Bannister and Pieter van Schalkwyk in South Africa in 1993.Initially the company focused on manual valve reconditioning. In 1999 Enserve opened an office in Durban to enhance turnaround times to customers in the province. In the same year, Enserve acquired Sasols valve repair centre, situated on the Polymers site in Sasolburg, South Africa.
