Eluxolweni Primary School is a Western Cape located primary school. At Eluxolweni they believe that true potential is released through education, hence their purpose is to provide excellent education and psychosocial support for school children from disadvantaged backgrounds in and around Khayelitsha. By focusing their efforts on the children and youth of the community, they know that the next generation will be more empowered to create and embrace lasting positive changes. To enhance and improve the learning experience for the children, they regularly conduct teacher development workshops in Maths and English for 19 primary school teachers in and around Western Cape. To measure the success of these workshops as well as the impact these programs have on the learners in the community the Eluxolweni Primary School sets a series of tests for the grade 5 learners under these teachers over the past 3 years the results from these tests have improved.
