Eersterust Meat Traders PTA (Pty) Ltd was established in 1998 as a supplier to meat and chicken Wholesalers, Butcheries, Restaurants and Informal Traders.
The business started in 1976 as Eersterust Offal Distributors under the stewardship of Raymond and Ruth Wathen specializing in the distribution of beef and sheep offal. Birthed from the backyard of an RDP house in Eersterust, the duo sold Offal from local farmers and became known as the local Eersterust Meat Traders.
Their legacy now lives on through their children who aim to take the bull by the horns and share the love of meat with other communities across South Africa.
