EWN and S Enterprises was started in Nigel by Mike Glutz in 1976 who ran the business together with the assistance of his brother Derek Glutz Alan Mikes son joined his father some 20 years ago, and expanded the business with the acquisition of BEW Engineering Supplies in Springs BEW was changed to EWN and S Springs and the business grew rapidly EWN and S became the major supplier of industrial gas and welding supplies to the Springs and Nigel markets With the retirement of Mike Glutz his son Alan was joined by Gavin Bryson former Air Product employee who worked there for over 23 years in January 2011 Together they bought the company from Mike Glutz and reaffirm their commitment to servicing their customers with gas and all their welding requirements in the Gauteng region
