Bizerca has something of a cult following in Cape Town for it is refined bistro food in a stylish twinkling setting. Oversized blackboard menus manoeuvred around the restaurant by the staff showcase the changing dishes and some of the Bizerca classics.To start you might try a creamy seafood and butternut veloute with mussels and a warming hint of chilli. It also comes with creamy prawns on toast. Or kick off with the superb pumpkin gnocchi gently fried to create a crispy caramelised exterior on a creamy tomato sauce. Mains are a meaty affair featuring kudu springbok lamb and beef there is however one vegetarian option sample the braised lamb shoulder which comes with a whole selection of lamb cuts including the shoulder a meatball and a chop.
