Barney has been in the bearing industry for more than 50 years. After a few years as an employee, he went out on his own and Bearing & Belting Supplies was born. From humble beginnings in his home, he bought job lots of bearings with borrowed money, cleaned and sold them. After a few years, he moved to his first shop in Van Riebeeck Avenue, the first of several shops in Edenvale.Barney's many years of experience make him the King of Bearings! He is the expert on imperial and metric sizes, and is often called upon by other people in the industry for assistance.In June 2015, B&BS moved to a stunning new shop in Andries Pretorius Street, where again, we have room for growth and look forward to some new opportunities in the industry.
