In addition to the welding we.We weld on a daily basis low alloy steels, cast iron, aluminium and stainless steels to a variety of standards such as required by large industry clients such as Eskom and Sasol and are experienced at meeting emergency repair requirements.A lot of our welding is performed using mechanised equipment and we are able to clad large items up to 12.5tons. We are also able to weld with a variety of techniques and have an extensive bank of qualified welding procedures. Heat treatment of the majority of welding is done with our own furnace.Our machine shop comprises a conventional shop with horizontal boring mills, a vertical borer and conventional lathes as well as a CNC shop that is equipped with 4 axis milling machines, lathes, spark eroder and a wire cutter.Some of the more notable work performed at Applied Welding Technology
